Day 2

On day 2 we woke up early and got out early to make the most of the day before we left. Our first stop was Boho Gelato. Zoella had been raving about this ice cream shop in her vlogs so we definitely had to go. Unfortunately, there was no carrot cake ice cream so instead i had brownie ice cream and strawberry gelato.
After that we walked through the lanes and ended up at choccywoccydoodah, which probably wasn't a good idea considering i had just ate 2 scoops of ice cream. We ordered something, not really knowing was it was and when it came to our table we saw a fairly big plate with cake and white chocolate. Me and my mum shared it and when we left i felt like i was in a chocolate coma!
We sat down for a bit outside just to let everything we just ate go down and then walked to churchill square and did a bit of shopping. I was a bit annoyed at my self because we were talking to a lady in a shop and she was saying zoella was there about an hour before. I couldn't believe it, we missed her!
After going into shops like space.nk, mac and primark ,the day was nearly over and it was time to go home.
I would definitely say Brighton is my happy place and i really want to make it an annual trip as i loved it so much. If you are still reading, congratulations! you deserve a medal as this is a very long blog post compared to my others aha!

I have always wanted to go to Brighton ever since i started watching Zoella and PointlessBlog a few years ago and this summer my mum surprised me with a trip to Brighton. Honestly, I preferred this trip more than holidays i have been on despite the fact that this was only a 2 days trip. In those 2 days we did so much and me and my mum figured out that we had walked around 12 miles.
The hotel we stayed in wasn't anything amazing considering we were going to be out all day and only their at night. The first place we went to was the beach which was conveniently right in front of our hotel. There we got to see the famous beach huts and i took so many photos of them its unbelievable. My favourite huts were number 73 and another one which, i can't remember what number it was, but it was open and had bunting and polaroids inside. It looked very pinterest.
Next we went to the bandstand. I have wanted to go to the bandstand ever since i read Girl Online On Tour when Penny, Elliott and Alex went there. it was so pretty and we were lucky to be there when no one else was so that we could get good photos. It was bigger than i thought it would be!
Next up was the West Pier. The west pier burnt down a couple years ago but the metal frame was left and it became a well known landmark. You can see the Pier in the PointlessBlog Calendar in the November month.
We then went on the British Airways i360. My mum had booked it online so it was a bit cheaper. The i360 is basically a 162m tall tower with a pod that you go in and it travels up and down. The view was absolutely amazing!
Along the seafront was loads of little shops that sold shells and souvenirs and others little bits. I bought a couple things and so did my mum. After we went in nearly every single shop, we were at the Brighton Pier. It was amazing. All lit up, rides spinning and going up and down, just like they were in vlogs on YouTube. We went on the pier of course and i got churros, which tasted amazing may i say. I wanted to go on the rides but i didn't want to go on them on my own and it was obvious my mum wasnt going to go on them! Maybe next time.
Before we knew it, the first days was nearly over and we walked back to the hotel to get ready to go to Jamie's Italian for tea.
